El Paso Police charge women after she allegedly stole identifying info of 111 people
El Paso Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old El Paso woman they accuse of unlawfully possessing identifying information of 111 people without their permission.
Police also that five of the people whose information she allegedly had were dead.
Tasha Marie Bruno, of the 140 block of S. Resler, has been charged Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information greater than 50. She has been booked into the El Paso County Jail.
Her bond was set at $20,000.
All of the individuals whose identifying information Bruno allegedly had have been contacted by the El Paso Police.
According to an El Paso Police affidavit, police discovered the allegedly stolen identifying information after finding a stolen vehicle from Albuquerque at the apartment of Bruno and Charles Richard Willis. The affidavit also states that Bruno implicated herself in the theft of the stolen vehicle in a sworn statement to police.
Bruno also told police she used fraudulent identifications to rent the stolen vehicle, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit also states Bruno and Willis allegedly used fraudulent identifications to rent the apartment.
