Chihuahuas Suspended by Rain Wednesday

The game between the El Paso Chihuahuas and Albuquerque Isotopes Wednesday has been suspended in the bottom of the first inning because of rain and wet field conditions. The Chihuahuas lead the game 3-2 with two outs in the bottom of the first with the Isotopes batting with the bases empty. There was a two hour and one minute delay before the announcement.

The two teams will continue the suspended game at 3:00 pm Thursday, with a seven-inning second game scheduled to start 30 minutes after the first game ends.

Both teams’ starting pitching plans for the doubleheader are to be determined.
