FINAL: UTEP women fall in 2OT to Jax State, 82-77 in CUSA tournament

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama (KVIA) -- The UTEP Miners fall in the first round of the Conference USA tournament to Jacksonville State in double overtime, 82-77, on Tuesday.

Portia Adams was phenomenal before fouling out in the fourth quarter as she collected a season high, 27 points. Heaven Samayoa-Mathis was another key player for the Miners finishing the game with 17 points.

Ndack Mbengue fouled out in double overtime finishing with 9 points.

The Miners finish the 2025-26 season with a 13-17 record.
