Updated Story: The two bodies found at separate locations Tuesday are linked to the El Paso Police officer being shot in the Lower Valley Monday night, according to police.

Police say the man, whose identity has not been released, shot the officer last night, then allegedly killed the woman in the home, and then committed suicide.

The woman’s body was found in a home on the 1200 block of Sal Rasura in East El Paso Tuesday morning.

The body of the shooter was found behind a Cash Store in the 9400 block of Alameda in Lower Valley Tuesday afternoon.
