Alleged kidnapper found, arrested

El Paso sheriff’s deputies say they arrested Carlos A. Holcombe in connection with a Friday kidnapping and sexual assault involving a 12-year-old girl.

Saturday afternoon while the Sheriff’s office Crimes Against Persons detectives were patrolling the area north of Horizon High School, a detective found a person and car matching the descriptions deputies were looking for.

After investigating, theEl Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested and booked Holcombe under a$500,000 bond. Additional charges are still pending.
