UTEP opens football season in Albuquerque today

The UTEP Miners will begin the 2014 football season Saturday in Albuquerque.

Coach Sean Kugler and his boys will be looking for revenge after a 42-35 overtime loss to the UNM Lobos last season.

The Miners haven’t visted the UNM Lobos since 2010, and the Miners have lost 14 of their last 17 games in Duke City.

The game starts at 6 pm. The ABC-7 Sports Department will be there.
