July 19 set for special election to fill City Rep. Holguin seat; filing period not set yet

Gov. Rick Perry has set July 19 as the date for the City of El Paso to hold a special election to fill the vacancy for District 6 City Rep. Eddie Holguin’s seat.

Municipal Clerk Richarda Momsen tells ABC-7 that the filing period has not been finalized and is still being worked on.
