ASARCO stacks expected to be demolished in April

A community meeting regarding the former ASARCO smelter site is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 26, 2013. The meeting will focus on the scheduled stack demolition, estimated to occur in April 2013.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the logistics of the stack demolition, health and safety protocols and road closures.
