Businessman Billy Abraham back in court Monday; conditions set for release while appealing conviction

El Paso businessman Billy Abraham was back in court Monday morning.

He was acquitted on Friday of intoxication manslaughter but convicted of driving while intoxicated.

Abraham was sentenced to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.

But on Monday morning, Judge Patrick Garcia released Abraham on a personal recognizance bond.

Here are the conditions of Abraham’s release:

He must have a breathalyzer installed in his car.
He will now have a curfew from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., where he will have to be at home.
Abraham will also have to report once a month for random drug and urine analysis.

Abraham still has a failure to render aid case pending for the crash that killed homeless man Jay Grady.

He also has another charge pending: accident involving death.

Court documents show that case is set for a jury trial at the end of January 2014.
