Delayed performance by Don Omar at Cohen Stadium leads to refunds
A concert by reggaeton artist Don Omar started hours late at Cohen Stadium on Saturday leading to some fans asking for refunds.
El Paso Diablos Director of Public Relations Lizette Espinoza told ABC-7 on Monday that the concert was delayed a few hours due to issues between the promoter, the acts, and production crews.
Don Omar tweeted at 9:39 p.m. Saturday, “Mis amigos de EL PASO, TEXAS Disculpen la espera pero yo tambin llevo esperando saber a que hora me toca tarima. Nos vemos en 2 horas.” It translates to “My friends from EL PASO, TEXAS Sorry for the wait but I also been waiting to know what time I get on stage. See you in two hours.”
A post on the Diablos/Cohen Stadium Facebook page on Sunday stated, “We are extremely disappointed that Don Omar left the fans waiting so long for the show Saturday night.” The post continued and mentioned refund possibilities.
Espinoza told ABC-7 that at this time those that left before the concert began can get a ticket refund if they turned in their tickets and signed up for a refund before leaving. They should be able to get their refund at the El Paso Diablos box office at Cohen Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Those with meet and greet tickets are eligible for partial refunds and should bring the tickets and credit card if you paid for tickets with it.
