Motorcycle accident leaves one man with life threatening injuries
A man sustained life threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning.
Police said around 5:53 a.m. a male motorcyclist was struck from behind by a vehicle at Loop 375 West and Padres.
The vehicle left the scene, but was arrested following the incident, according to police.
The motorcyclist was sent to Del Sol Medical Center Sunday morning.
Officials say Special Traffic Investigators were sent to the scene, closing Loop 375 West from Zaragoza to Padres.
The area is not expected to reopen until around 2 p.m.
