Second deadly wreck of weekend occurs in Northeast El Paso
A man is dead after he was involved in a rollover accident in Northeast El paso.
According to officials the incident occurred on US 54. A portion of the highway was closed for several hours after following the late Saturday night crash from Diana to Hondo Pass.
Officials said the driver, a man, was thrown from his vehicle during the rollover. The vehicle then caught fire, first-responders said.
The name of the driver was not revealed. The vehicle was a late model BMW.
Traffic was cleared by the morning commute Sunday.
