First Alert: Severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and strong outflow winds overnight

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight and Wednesday morning. El Paso and Las Cruces expect a 50% chance for heavy rain, gusty winds and hail. Winds will generally be east at 5 to 15 mph except near thunderstorms. Another round of scattered storms are in the forecast Wednesday, storms will become more isolated.
