Semi truck fire in Culberson County
The Culberson Country Sheriff’s Office said a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler were involved in a fiery crash on I-10 by Van Horn Saturday.
Officials said the call came in around 5:30 in the evening. A viewer sent video to our partners at KVUE in Austin showing flames that completely covered the two vehicles.
Culberson Sheriff officials said several people were involved in the crash, and one was taken away by medevac helicopter.
They said fire, medical, sheriff and state trooper units all responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and there is no word yet on the condition of the others involved.
