Man hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing on his bicycle
A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he lost control of his bicycle and crashed just before noon on Monday.
The man, whose name has not been released, was riding a Murray bicycle with a mounted engine to power the bicycle. He was traveling southbound in the 6041 block of Alabama when he lost control of the bicycle and crashed onto the roadway.
He suffered serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center.
Special Traffic Investigators was called to assist in the investigation.
The investigation continues.
