Executive Center ramp closes

The Texas Department of Transportation has closed the Executive Center Blvd. on-ramp to Interstate 10 West.

The closure is expected to last more than two months. TexDoT is building what it calls “collector-distributor” lanes from Executive Center to Mesa Street. The new lanes, similar to a frontage road, will allow cars entering and exiting the highway more time to merge than traditional on and off ramps allow.

This is a multi-year project. This first phase – to allow the emplacement of concrete barriers to protect workers – is projected to take two months.
