Las Cruces man arrested after allegedly stabbing his brother over a cell phone

A Las Cruces man is in jail accused, accused of stabbing his own brother.

Las Cruces Police say 33-year-old Manuel Garcia Lilly was arguing with his younger brother Wednesday night over a lost cell phone.

A fight broke out and and police say Lilly stabbed his brother two times in the upper body.

Lilly was found on the 2100 block of South Solano Drive.

His brother was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lilly is being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center without bond.
