El Paso County Sheriff’s office looking for sex offender who allegedly missed court date
El Paso Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a sex offender they say hasn’t reported for a court date.
Jose Alfredo Varela was convicted of two counts of sexual assault and arrested last year for failing to register.
Varela was released on a split bond back in March but allegedly never reported to a hearing.
