Fire at west El Paso apartment complex under investigation

A fire broke out Thursday night at an apartment complex in west El Paso.

It happened at around 7:30 p.m. at the Caprock Apartments on 6022 Caprock.

When emergency crews arrived, flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the

complex. Firefighters were able to get it under control in about 2 hours. Fire

investigators say 4 units were damaged. The cause is under investigation. The families

affected are getting help from the red cross.
