Trial continues for mom charged in son’s death
The trial of an El Paso mother accused of neglecting her 2-month-old baby boy – and causing his death – continues today.
El Paso Police say Lindsey Hradek and her husband, Bobby Soto, were allegedly high on cocaine and neglected to check on their son.
The boy was found dead back in 2012, strapped to an overturned car seat, under a pile of pillows.
A complaint affidavit obtained by the ABC-7 I Team at the time revealed the baby had been dead for several hours before his parents called 911.
In a recorded interview jurors listened to, Hradek says she woke up in the morning and noticed her baby’s face was purple.
She touched him and he was cold and she picked him up and he was stiff.
Hradek is charged with injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury.
