City: No major weather damage, crews monitoring streets

The City of El Paso says there are no major reports of weather damage and crews continue to monitor streets.

Abc-7 spoke with city spokesman Martin Bartlett, he says city crews are cleaning debris in some areas.

“Right now, what you have is maintenance crews on the street doing a little bit of debris removal, also assisting the El Paso Water Utilities Stormwater crews in removing any standing water which is still on the streets,” Bartlett said.

Abc-7 also took to the streets to see how neighborhoods impacted by July’s storms are doing. Residents there say roads are in good condition.
