UMC, County Commissioners to meet Tuesday and confirm joint plan with Children’s

The University Medical Center board and El Paso County commissioners are scheduled to meet Tuesday, Oct. 13 to approve a joint plan with El Paso Children’s Hospital.

The principals of the plan were first approved Monday. Over the week, attorney’s from both parties have expanded on the specific details of the plan, created what commissioners told ABC-7 was a 43-page document.

Those details need to be approved by UMC and the county. If they make any changes, those changes will then need to be approved by EPCH’s board before it can be filed in the count and made public.

The meeting is at 3 p.m. at UMC.
