UTEP Women’s Soccer grabs win over Old Dominion

The UTEP Lady Miners Soccer team grabbed a big conference win over Old Dominion Sunday.

In the 4th minute in the contest, Bri Thomas scored the first goal of the game with an impressive one on one shot. This was followed by 2 more goals to spread the gap over Old Dominion.

But the real theme of the game was Keeper Alyssa Palacios who shut out the Monarchs. The women are now 11-6-2 on the year and now 4-3-2 in conference play.

The Miners wrap up their regular season Friday at 7 p.m. at home against Middle Tennessee.
