BREAKING: Authorities arrest suspect in deadly shooting outside Pockets pool hall
The suspect in a deadly September shooting outside a West El Paso pool hall was arrested Thursday.
Officers with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force took Carlos Alberto Lozano, 38, into custody at the Bridge of the Americas Port of Entry.
He was wanted by El Paso police in the shooting death of a 32-year-old man on Sept. 26 outside Pockets Billiards & Fun at 4007 Mesa St.
Police said Lozano and the and the victim had gotten into an argument in the parking lot. Lozano allegedly shot the man and drove away. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Providence Hospital, where he died.
