Sanchez State Jail teacher awarded state honors

Martha Estrada teaches at the Sanchez State Jail in far east El Paso.

Estrada was recognized as a statewide runner-up for being one of the best correctional educators in the state. The award is given to one teacher out of more than 550 employed across the state in 92 jails and prisons.
