Boy Scouts earn merit badges at Western Tech

west texas and southern new mexico region will now have the opportunity to work with western tech faculty! this morning, more than 200 boyscouts helped kick off inaugural western tech merit badge college – at the east side main campus. it offers scouts the opportunity get learn about some other careers fields. they get to use those great facilities and learn from the instructors. “i am looking forward to doin the automotive merit badge,because working on cars is a great passion for me i like working on cars. looking at different cars, it gives me great inspiration for what i want to do in the future. its great” scouts will get a chance to earn up to two merits badges in one day – while working alongside western tech faculty. a lot of you might be familiar
