EPISD presents outline plan for student success in 2020

A transformation plan for the El Paso School District was presented Wednesday to front of community stakeholders.

Superintendent Juan Cabrera outlined the plans and strategies that EPISD will use over the next five years to help the district become a premier district of choice in the region.

Cabrera is set to introduce some of the efforts that teachers and students will see in the classroom as part of a plan to offer more academic, character and extracurricular programs.

The programs will help prepare students for life after high school, officials said.

Cabrera will also speak about the success that students, teachers- and other EPISD team members have achieved over the last 12 months.
