Police respond to a call of shots fired Saturday morning
El Paso police said they responded to a call of shots fired around 3:50 a.m. Saturday morning. It happened on the 8800 block of Mount Shasta Drive in northeast El Paso.
Police say members of a SWAT team were called in after a man barricaded himself inside the home. Police said shortly after the SWAT team was called, the man exited the home and the swat team was called off. The man was taken into custody and the scene was cleared.
Police haven’t released any other information at this time. We’re working to find out more about the circumstances surrounding this incident.
