Police identify woman killed in Friday night’s crash in west El Paso
Police have identified the victim in a Friday night crash as 83-year-old Maria Sanchez. She died after being taken to the hospital. The crash happened on Resler Drive and Nardo Goodman Drive next to Kohlberg Elementary School.
Police say Guadalupe Martinez was driving a Ford F-150 west on Nardo Goodman. At the same time Tiffany Nguyen was driving an Acura north on Resler.
Police say Martinez failed to yield to the right of way as she was driving toward Resler when she crashed into Nguyen. Sanchez was in the passenger side of Martinez’s car.
