UPDATE: I-10 West now open after high winds cause impromptu lane closure

The Texas Department of Transportation says all lanes of westbound I-10 at Sunland Park exit (Exit 13) ramp are open.

Crews closed all lanes Saturday due to winds affecting the overhang brackets.

The Texas Department of Transportation says the closure will be in place for approximately 3-4 hours so crews can ensure the overhang is secure.

Detoured traffic will be allowed to re-enter westbound I-10 immediately prior to the Sunland Park overpass.
