Firefighters battling apartment blaze in Northeast El Paso

Firefighters are battling a blaze at an apartment complex on the 86 block of Robert in Northeast El Paso.

The fire erupted just down the street from the Sunrise Center.

The blaze has been downgraded from a condition 3 to a Condition 2, according to the fire department’s Twitter account. Condition 3 means flames and thick smoke were visible when firefighters arrived.
