Home catches fire in Segundo Barrio
A home caught fire in the Segundo Barrio Sunday night.
It broke out just before 10:30 pm on the 1000 block of South Oregon. Firefighters say that’s when a passerby saw smoke and called 911.
Emergency crews say the residents were able to evacuate in time, and no injuries were reported. The fire was out by 11 pm. Firefighters say the damage was limited to 25% of the home. Damage is estimated at $25,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
