I-10 West: All lanes open at Downtown exit

All lanes on I-10 West have reopened just before the Downtown exit following a crash involving a pedestrian.

It happened at around 5 p.m. Tuesday on I-10 West near the Downtown exit.

Traffic was backed up all the way to Copia and the freeway was closed for about 4 hours.

Police say the person was changing a tire and was struck by a vehicle.

Police tell ABC-7 the person was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
