Runaway teen among 3 arrested in Alamogordo burglary
Detectives with the Alamogordo Police Department arrested three people suspected of breaking into a home and stealing numerous firearms, electronics, jewelry.
The alleged burglary happened sometime between April 2, 2017 and April, 5, 2017 on the 3900 block of Scenic Drive, police said.
The burglars allegedly gained entry into the residence through a window.
An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Tyler Gilmore, 19-year-old Carek Lawson and 16-year-old Alyssa Nease.
Investigators recovered most of the stolen property, including the firearms, police said.
Gilmore was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary, Larceny and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. His cash-only bond was set at $20,000.
Lawson was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary, Larceny, Tampering with Evidence and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. His cash-only bond was set at $20,000.
Nease was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary and transported to a juvenile facility. Police said she was removed from NCIC as being a reported runaway.
