Powered restored after car knocks down utility pole in East El Paso
Hundreds of customers, including businesses on Lee Trevino Drive, lost power when a driver crashed and knocked down a utility pole Saturday afternoon in East El Paso.
The crash sent power lines to the ground right in front of the Starbucks Coffee on the 1800 block of N. Lee Trevino. Emergency crews blocked off the entrance and exit to the McDonald’s next door, leaving many in the restaurant stuck.
An El Paso Electric spokeswoman told ABC-7 powered was restored shortly before 4 p.m.
