EPPD looking for information on West El Paso robbery suspect

El Paso Police are looking for information on one failed and one successful robbery committed in the past week in West El Paso. Investigators believe the two crimes are connected.

The first occurred last Thursday, January 4th, just after 5 PM at Evolve FCU on 6950 Pitt St. The male suspect allegedly handed the teller a note saying he was there to rob them. The suspect fled the scene without any property.

The next incident occurred at Sally’s beauty supply on 5933 N. Mesa last Monday, January 8th, just after 6PM. The suspect allegedly handed the employee at the register with another note saying this was a robbery. He was successful this time and allegedly left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a 20-30 year old 5’5″ white or Hispanic male, with light skin, and a thin build. He wore casual shoes in one case and tennis shoes in the other.

The suspect may be driving a black or dark colored small car, possibly a 2 door Hyundai.
