El Paso comedian stars in Jimmy Kimmel Live! skit poking fun at ‘Ikea pee’ ad
El Paso native and Franklin High School graduate, Jonny Svarzbein, the brother of El Paso City Representative Peter Svarzbein, starred in a Jimmy Kimmel Live skit poking fun at a new Ikea advertisement.
Ikea’s magazine advertisement asks women to drop a sample of their urine on the page to find out if they are pregnant. If they are expecting a baby, they can take the advertisement to an Ikea store to get a discount on a new crib.
“That’s right! If you’re pregnant, you’re not seeing things. You pee on the ad and they’ll give you a deal on a crib,” Kimmel said before introducing the skit involving Jonny Svarzbein, a Los Angeles comedian.
The promotion is only available in Sweden, but Kimmel told his national audience a Los Angeles businessman, played by Jonny Svarzbein, is jumping on the bandwagon.
