Northeast El Paso neighborhood reopened; reported armed man not found
El Paso Police closed off a neighborhood in Northeast El Paso Saturday morning as they looked for a man who was reportedly armed with firearms and body armor.
As we reported on Good Morning El Paso Weekend, about 45 minutes after the first EPPD Tweet alerted residents, police tweeted the area around Sweetwater Dr. and Longview Dr. had been reopened and the scene was cleared.
The man was not found.
ABC-7 will update this story as we get information.
