Registration is open for 2018 Earth Day Trash Bin Art Contest

The Environmental Services Department is having its second annual Trash Bin Art Contest and is encouraging residents 18 years and older to participate.

The contest, which focuses on recycling, provides artists with a unique canvas, a trash bin!

The contest is free, but candidates must submit their artwork renderings and registration packets via e-mail or delivered in person.

First, second, and third place winners will be given a trash bin and paint supplies to create their masterpiece. The winning trash bins will be displayed at ESD’s Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 7.

All completed entries must be submitted by 5 p.m., Monday, February 26.
