The Sun City is getting a shout-out and some positive national exposure.

The New York Times profiled El Paso, Juarez, New Mexico and all of what the borderland has to offer.

The op-ed, called “From Museums to Mountains, Pride and Patriotism,” is written by NYT Travel reporter Julian Aguilar. He features popular Mexican restaurants like L & J Cafe, downtown revitalization and Fort Bliss in the segment that aims to shed light on the border at a time when immigration and border security dominate the headlines.
