Power line causes I-10 and Gateway Blvd. closure Tuesday morning
El Paso police said a power line went down at I-10 and Hawkins, causing heavy traffic backup Tuesday morning.
At around 4 a.m., authorities closed I-10 and Gateway Blvd. in both directions. Everything back open.
El Paso Electric said it was an excavation crew that clipped that downed power line.
