TRAFFIC ALERT: I-10 closed between Loop 375 and Lee Trevino

There’s a major road closure East Side drivers will have to deal with on Sunday.

I-10 is completely closed between Loop 375 and Lee Trevino. The closure started at 5 a.m. and is expected to last until 12:30 p.m.

The closure is to allow El Paso Electric crews to replace a power line across I-10 to interconnect until a nearby substation.

All Eastbound traffic must exit at Lee Trevino. Westbound traffic will be diverted to Loop 375 Southbound.
