Local ten-year-old boxer ranked number two in the nation

Ka’Vonte (K-DOT) James is a ten-year-old El Paso boxer who is currently ranked number two in the nation.

K Dot trains at the Garcia’s House of Boxing at 1477 Lomaland Suite A9.

I was informed that the “DOT” in his name stands for “Dedication Over Talent.”

He has received a large amount of praise and support for the community.

K-DOT’s next fight is in Las Vegas Nevada at the Boxing Hall of Fame Inductions.

Then the young boxer plans on fighting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

That fight will hopefully get him the number one spot he so badly wants.

The boxer’s family has been selling kettle corn to local businesses in order to come up with the money to get them to Tennessee.

If you would like to contact KDOT’s father about helping them out you can call them at 915-493-5227 or you can go by Garcia’s House of Boxing.
