Body of drowning victim discovered in south El Paso canal
Firefighters recovered the body of an apparent drowning victim from a south El Paso canal Monday afternoon.
The body was discovered around 1 p.m. in the canal near San Marcial and San Antonio.
Authorities indicated the body was that of a man and said the medical examiner was working to determine the victim’s identity.
