Man stabbed to death in south-central el Paso; no arrests yet

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Police Department is investigating a deadly stabbing in south-central El Paso stemming from an apparent violent family dispute.

A man was stabbed to death around 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of San Marcial Street, police said, and an ABC-7 crew saw a covered body at the crime scene.

A police spokeswoman said they were directed to that location later in the morning by a 21-year-old man who was being treated at Del Sol hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said no arrests had yet been made but officers would be serving search warrants in connection with the homicide investigation.
