ABC-7 First Alert: Winds continue overnight with cooler temperatures expected Wednesday

El Paso, Texas-- The ABC-7 StormTrack Weather team is keeping the first alert in place as changes will remain in the forecast for the next several days.

Winds will continue overnight with a slight chance for showers in the forecast.

A cold front will bring much cooler air and drop down our afternoon highs to below average for Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday's afternoon temperatures will reach the upper 60s.

Drier air is expected by the end of the week into the weekend with the return of 90 degree temperatures by Sunday.
