Body found north of Las Cruces, death labeled ‘suspicious’
DONA ANA COUNTY, New Mexico -- Dona Ana County Sheriff's deputies were investigating a "suspicious death" discovered Monday afternoon.
A body was found about 1 p.m. in the Jornada Experimental Range, which is public land used for biosphere research.
That area where the death happened is located about 20 miles north of Las Cruces.
Investigators have not released any details on the person found or how they died.
