Lawn-services app launched in El Paso
EL PASO, Texas-- GreenPal offers its clients an easy way to find different services for their lawns in a more effective and reliable manner.
"GreenPal has been described as 'Uber' for lawn care," said the company's founder, Gene Caballero, "it's the easiest way for homeowners to find, schedule, and pay the lawn guy."
The app asks customers to list the types of services they're requesting for their lawn and what date they want it. Once they submit their request, then vendors in the app start bidding on it.
"All those bids go over to the homeowner," said Caballero, "the homeowner can see the vendors' ratings, reviews and price."
Going through vendors' responses, clients are also able to check reliability scores, the average time vendors take to complete a job, and records of how many times they've been hired back.
More conveniently, the whole process is contactless.
"Once the vendor is done with the property he'll actually take one picture of the completed service," Caballero explained, "that will go to the homeowner for approval, when the homeowner approves it that dollar amount goes to that vendor's bank account."
Caballero added GreenPal has no additional fees, the price a vendor quotes you is the price you are charged at the end of the transaction.
"We've done gutters, we've built a fence. Basically anything outside of the home that a home owner wants and if a vendor offers," Caballero added, "it can be done through GreePal, so it's not just limited to your basic landscaping."
