Be Mindful: TTUHSC El Paso receives $75,000 for mental health care

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Molina Cares is gifting $75,000 to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso to boost mental health care in the Borderland.

The University will establish a patient navigator position. The patient navigator will reach out to communities in West Texas and Southern New Mexico and act as a patient guide and advocate.

Molina Cares hopes to help patients overcome educational and socioeconomic barriers to receive the mental health care they need.
