Singer Miley Cyrus is sending a loud message to those criticizing her love life, telling them she has no plans to become a recluse so they better get used to her dating other people.

In lengthy tweets Friday night, Cyrus slammed people who’ve accused her of moving too fast after her split from actor husband Liam Hemsworth in August.

“I know the public feels invested in my past relationship because they felt like they saw it thru from the beginning,” Cyrus said. “I think that’s why people have always felt so entitled over my life and how I live it because they’ve watched me grow up.”

However, she said, she’s no longer a child.

“I am grown now and make choices as an adult knowing the truth/details/reality. People only ‘know’ what they see on the internet,” she said.

She highlighted the double standards today, saying men get pats on the back when they move on fast after a relationship, but women get a bad rap.

“They move on from one beautiful young woman to the next MOST times without consequence. … I am trying to just THRIVE/survive in a ‘mans’ world. If we can’t beat em, join em!”

After Cyrus split from her husband, he posted a note on social media wishing her health and happiness.
